Mission: The goal of the Perth Amboy Science Department is to encourage and prepare students to successfully gain skills to contribute to the field of Science and develop scientific literacy.  We accomplish this through a rigorous curriculum that emphasizes critical thinking, problem solving, exploration, and technology. 

Vision: To create science-literate students who will develop the needed skills to investigate, analyze, inquire, reflect, and expand their knowledge of science and engineering.  This is important because we are fostering citizens who will become active members of the global community and contribute solutions to global science issues.
