About the Digital Media Academy
The Digital Media Academy is a dynamic and immersive program designed for students passionate about storytelling, visual arts, and digital communication through two specialized tracks: Film & Animation and News Media Production. This academy provides hands-on experience in film production, animation, and news media, preparing students for careers in the ever-evolving world of media and entertainment. Whether students dream of directing films, animating characters, or delivering breaking news, the Digital Media Academy provides the creative and technical foundation they need to thrive in the media industry!
Similar to the other academy programs, students will select a senior seminar course where they will create and present a final capstone project that will be showcased at the end of their senior year. Over the years, students have produced important projects that are essential for their portfolio and college applications. Films, animations, and documentaries have been nominated for several state and national competitions.
