

About the Health Sciences Academy
Students in the Health Sciences Academy will explore a variety of careers in the medical and health fields while gaining hands-on skills that prepare them for college or direct entry into the workforce. Whether pursuing a two- or four-year degree or jumping into a healthcare profession, students will build a strong foundation for future success.
Certification Opportunities
- Students can earn nationally recognized certifications upon successful completion of senior year courses and testing requirements.
- Students in the Medical Track have the opportunity to earn their Emergency Medical Certification through the Emergency Care and Safety Institute (ECSI).
- Students in the Sports Medicine & Health Services Track have the opportunity to earn their Certified Personal Trainer Certification through The National Council on Strength & Fitness (NCSF).
