English III This year we will be covering the following:

The My Perspective Savvas program provides students with more focused instruction and practice in various reading and writing skills. 

*Reading My Perspectives Textbook Units:

Unit 2 - The Individual and Society

Unit 4 - Grit and Grandeur

Unit 3 - Leaders and Visionaries 

Unit 5 - The Threat of "The Other"

NJPGA Boot Camp (2-3 weeks)

* Writing:

Informative Essays, Explanatory Essays, Argumentative Essays, Narrative/Reflective Essays, and the Research Paper

Students will read an Independent Reading Book of their choice every marking period.

*Grammar, Language,  and Vocabulary

* Independent Reading Novel (student choice)

Digital Literacy: In this course students will experience a comprehensive education in digital literacy and technology fundamentals. Tailored to accommodate all levels of familiarity with technology, the course's breadth of topics ensures that each student can build a versatile skill set that aligns with modern digital demands. The course moves fluidly from foundational elements such as typing and digital foundations to intricate areas like web development.
