Hello, I am Mr. Lung, a Social Studies teacher at Perth Amboy High School. I am originally from Hong Kong, China. I moved to the US when I was young to obtain an education. I was a product of the East Brunswick Public School system before I attended Rutgers University. I have obtained the following degrees from Rutgers University:
-BA in History
-BA in Political Science
-MA in Political Science with a focus on International Relations
-MA in Secondary Education
I am very passionate about social sciences and always curious to read more about it. I have taught many Social Studies subjects at PAHS, like World History, US 2, Financial Literacy, Economics, Contemporary World Issues, Sociology, AP US Government, and Intro to American Government.
I believe education is a journey where teachers guide students to formulate and develop their comprehensive Weltanschauung. This fancy German word means a comprehensive worldview that includes the physical transcendental and metaphysical realities. My goal as a teacher is to offer our students as many perspectives as possible to develop their understanding of where they fit in our society and the world at large.
